Dr. Crystal Hua is a consultant concentrating on toxicology, exposure assessment, industrial hygiene,
and risk assessment. She is currently focused on per- and polyfluorinated substances (PFAS) and their detection in drinking water, e-cigarettes (vaping), asbestos, new approach methods in risk assessment, and environmental toxicology (over a wide range of issues). Her current interests and projects involve litigation work, interpreting toxicological studies, big data analytics, conducting human exposure assessments, scientific communications, assessing mathematical models for dose-response curves, and characterizing risks posed by chemicals in the environment and workplace. She has a Ph.D. in Environmental Toxicology from the University of California, Riverside.
